I may have to testify in Federal Court regarding an interpreted exam I conducted. The results were NDI but the fed. pros. did not accept because he believed results unreliable with interpreter. The problems I have had with this type of exam is I really don't know if I created the right psy. set and if the DI results are reliable. I have never felt that NDI results are unreliable. I contacted APA and there are no studies regarding this type of exam. Any ideas. FYI it was a Hispanic examinee with an interpreter I have used before.
